Marquês Garden House by Olivia
A stay at the Marquês Garden House by Olivia is synonymous with the refinement and sumptuousness of 19th and early 20th century architectural modernism. Over 100 years old, the Singular House retains all the features that once represented the stately homes of the wealthiest families. Among countless details, the corridors and rooms are decorated with arches and panels carved from fine wood, fireplaces with antique tiles and riga floors. This charming guesthouse features friezes of Bordalo Pinheiro tiles, stone walls and an imposing staircase decorated with a bust of a child by Soares dos Reis, the great sculptor from Porto.
The space, with 16 rooms of different types, has inviting large suites, a secret garden and a spacious outdoor swimming pool, perfect for enjoying warm, balmy days.
